I have been a home brewer for the longest time, while professionally being involved in the IT industry as a developer and consequently a manager in the big 4s.

After a decade in the corporate world, I decided to pursue my passions rather than my engineering degree and took to the world of specialty coffee professionally – earning my place as the first Indian woman AST, independent sensory analyst and consultant. I also founded a design studio “studioSY” for all my creatively inclined passions.

Both of my ventures are deeply rooted in my belief in making a difference, building and uplifting communities. Through my studio, I work with artisans across India to create handloom sarees – bringing their skill and right to fair wage front and centre.
